How to qualify for NPC? ›

RULE 5 – US athletes must be nationally qualified by placing in the top 2 in an open class at an NPC regional contest held in the current or previous year before competing in an NPC Worldwide Pro Qualifier contest.

The age categories include individuals aged 35 and above, 40 and above, 45 and above, and 50 and above. IFBB Pro cards will be granted to the overall winners in each division, with the exception of wellness IFBB Pro Cards, which will be exclusively awarded to the 35 and 40 age group.

The National Physique Committee (NPC) is the largest amateur bodybuilding organization in the United States. Amateur bodybuilders compete in competitions from local to national competitions sanctioned by the NPC.

There are several ways to become an NPC (non-player character) in a game or story. You can create your own character and submit it to the game or story creator, or you can audition for existing roles. You can also join an online role-playing game and create your own character to play.

Amateurs can compete in any amateur NPC show. This would be every show on the NPC Northeast schedule except for NPC UNIVERSE (a pro qualifier) and the IFBB NY PRO (a pro contest). True Novice – Open to competitors who have never competed in an NPC contest. Not offered at all shows. Novice – Competitors who have not placed Top 10 at a National Show OR not have won an Overall (this includes Novice, Masters, or Open Overalls) OR not have won an Open Class with 3 or more competitors in the class.

Is there an age limit to compete in bodybuilding? NANBF competitors must be age 13 or older, except for the Transformation Challenge where participants must be at least 18 years of age at the time of entry.
